No linking meters in guild, raid, party, or say chat.
If you must show someone something please pst them. A raid leader is allowed to link dispels, interrupts, and other stuff to show what a particular problem maybe in an encounter. If he or she needs to do so please link minimal information as possible, no 25 line spam of damage done on boss fight. This is for annoyance reasons as well as preventing elitist attitude behavior in guild. We all are proud of our ability's time to time pst someone if your excited please.
No running mouth in trade chat.
You can chat and answer questions, refrain from joining in on the annoying games kids play in trade and from cussing or bashing others in trade. You are advertising our guild in all your behaviors in trade, party and pug raids. Please lead a good example and make us look respectful
. Only Officers are allowed to post recruitment posts also, don't need to spam Vicarious is recruiting.Be respectful to guildies and others
This goes along with above try and watch your language towards others. We are a mostly adult based guild, it's okay to cuss just not towards others please. If you have a dispute with someone please keep it out of guild and keep it in psts only. Contact an officer asap to help resolve anything that is between you and another guildy. If two others are arguing in vent or chat, please don't join in and try and control it, pst an officer, we will handle it asap.
No selling gear that has been given to you in guild.
If you've been given any gear it is yours to use. If you do not need this gear, pst an officer so we can redistribute to someone who can. You may not roll on gear to sell or give to a friend who needs it also.
During guild raids, release after you die asap on trash or after a fight has been called.
Rezing is not allowed unless your loot master. If someone needs to go afk for a good reason we will rez, if it becomes frequent we will not rez or let you qualify for loot. We want people to promptly release and run back like everyone else. Even if only one or two die, we need healers on tanks and dps for trash instead of waiting to rez those that have died. We run at a fast pace, your not missing out on trash just release and get back before boss pull. We will wait if you release if your hesitant you will miss out on that kill or loot.
No talking in vent during a boss encounter.
During trash it is okay to bs long as it is going smooth. However after a ready check we ask that vent be silent unless you have lead or assist. If your asked a question feel free to answer in vent. We don't want to know that you died, why you died, or that your dcing. We all have unit frames up and are well aware of your mistakes, at times of chaos is when vent is our greatest tool. Raid lead needs to make changes promptly and call out many things to keep us successful. If you have a question with how a fight is handled please pst raid lead before or after an encounter. If you need an explanation on a mechanic please say something to clarify your concerns.
Keep afk's to a minimal during raids.
We do raid for 3-4 hrs. breaks will be allowed we all need to get up once in a while or go bio. Let lead or assist know if you must do so. Try and keep it to a minimal as much as possible. Understandably we all have our nights with multiple distractions and rl needs more attention. We're not cruel we understand but it does get frustrating at times to delay runs. A good night would be getting through 4-6 bosses with no breaks at all. If 10-25 people can do that a break will be granted. If people are always going afk and delaying pulls no breaks will be granted. If time is constantly wasted from many people we won't get anything done as a group. So remember to wear your cathetor
